Edward Lamont Santiful, 45 years old, of Portsmouth, Va, passed away on October 11, 2023. They were born on August 16, 1978 to his beautiful mother, Francine Santiful. Edward Lamont Santiful 's life was a testament to his ability to be in a room and make you laugh without much effort. He was a true example of what a father looks like and his love as a brother is unmatched. He was a beloved son, father, brother, cousin, spouse, and grandson, a cherished friend, and a valued member of the community. He touched the lives of many with his cool nature, crazy sense of humor, and lovingheart. Edward Lamont Santiful is survived by his Mother: Francine Santiful; Father: John Lawrence, Grandmother: Bertha Santiful, Daughter: Oryonna Harris; Brother: Shawn Sanitful, Sisters: Erica Corpening, Brittney Keyser, Denise Lawrence, and Audrey Lawrence; Uncle:Jimmy Santiful, Aunts: Angela Bassfield, Danetta Lawrence, Demitria Davis, Denise Davis, Denise Johnson; Cousin: Quintae Santiful, Javonne Santiful, John Bassfield, Richard Bassfield, Robin Bassfield, Eric Gardner, Sheniqua Odom; Spouse; Ciera Harris, and a slew of family and friends not listed, who will forever cherish the memories of his loving presence. Most people search for the meaning or importance of life; and Lamont Santiful found it before he left this earth. He understood the importance of laughter, what it does to the soul, and how it heals those around you. He mastered loving his people and appreciation for those near and dear. He understood how important it was to sit back and be present in the moment; he also had found a new love for travel with future trips planned to go to Greece amongst other places. He figured out the importance of exploration. A Celebration of Life Ceremony/memorial service will be held on October 28th, 2023 @ 6109 Virginia Beach Blvd Norfolk, Va from 12:30pm - 4pm. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Edward Lamont Santiful life.
