Jalah M.(Jojo) Owens

Jalah Messiah Owens, 18, of Murfreesboro, TN, died October 6, 2018 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident involving a drunk driver. He was born on July 23, 2000 in Virginia Beach, the son of Valerie Netiya Owens and Shawn Infinite Clark. He was raised in Richmond, Tampa, and Murfreesboro by his mother and stepfather Orenthal Sincere Beane. He graduated from Blackman High School in 2018, where he was a defensive back for the football team #20. He was currently enrolled at Chattanooga State College majoring in Applied Engineering with emphasis in welding. Jalah Jojo Owens loved football, video games, and music. He was known for his self-styled way of dressing, having a big heart, a smile that could light up a room, and full of jokes and laughs. Jojo was loyal to the ones he loved. Jojo is survived by his parents Netiya, Infinite and his stepfather Sincere, his sister Arabia and his brothers Daniel, Shekhem and Zacari. He also leaves his grandparents Percy Owens, Barbara Clark, Rita and Clyde Turner. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Raquell and his close friends Jaden, Trae and Cordell of Murfreesboro and several aunts, uncles, Percy, Florence, Goldie, Marquel, Ronde, Claudia, Courtney, and Hanif and cousins including Cannon.
