Ms. Towander Riddick Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

On October 17, 2021, Towander Lorraine Riddick, our beloved mother, sister, niece, aunt, cousin and friend gained her heavenly wings and went to be with the LORD as she was surrounded by her family. Towander Lorraine Riddick was born October 15, 1974, to the late Cleo Riddick Cherry and William Sivels in Chesapeake, VA. She graduated from Oscar F. Smith High School in 1993. After graduating from high school she went on to obtain her C.N.A license in 2000 and pursed a career in nursing for 12 years. She worked at assisted livings, memory care, and nursing homes. In 2013 she attended Everest College where she received her degree as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. She worked at E.V.M.S gynecologist associates for Dr. Kimble until she could no longer work. She coached for the Good Neigh Bears baseball team, 757 Colts and the Norfolk Rams. You would always hear “Coach Riddick”; they loved her and she loved them like they were her own. She leaves to cherish her memory her son Ajahni Jordan and her significant other Kentrell Jordan. Also, her sister Sharon Riddick Harris & brother Claude Riddick (Cynthia) on her mom’s side. On her dad’s side Margaret Olds (Pernell) of Virginia, Katrina Ortiz (Edmond) of Missouri, William Sivels, Jr. (Karen), David Sivels (Jo-Ann), Vanessa Moore, Bonnie King (Rodney) all of Virginia, James Allen Sivels (Late Patricia Wright-Sivels) of Missouri, Michael Lucas of Virginia. A host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Also her two other sister’s Dawn Hall, and Tynisha Brewer a bond that will never be broken the 3 amigos.
